My background:
I graduated from High School in 1998 and attended West Virginia University on a full athletic scholarship for gymnastics. While
at West Virginia University I was a two time team captain and competed twice in the NCAA championships in 1999 and 2000.
I earned both my Bachelor's in Biology and Master's degree in Education in 2003. I am entering my 6th year
as a high school science teacher in central NJ where I also served as the head gymnastics coach in 2005 and 2006.
I still coach summer gymnmastics camps and clinics as well as judge NJ NPC bodybuilding shows.

I have always been an athlete at heart... I began competing in NPC
fitness 6 years ago in 2002 and I won my class at Team Universe and turned PRO in fitness in July 2007!!!!
I love competing and pushing my body and mind to the limit! I am not a girly girl by any means. I am very dedicated
to anything that I put my mind to! I have had 5 knee surgeries since 1996 and hope to keep my legs strong through competing
in fitness!

Both of my parents were educators, and my father was a football coach. I LOVE
football!! In the last few years my parents have had some health issues and these made me realize not to take things
or people for granted. I live each day to the fullest and feel grateful for everything that I have been blessed with. I have
a few what I would consider "true friends" who are very important to me. My best friend, Elena Seiple, has
been my biggest fan since I started competing in fitness. I would not be where I am today in the sport if it wasn't
for her! She is like the sister I never had!

I have fallen in love
with the most amazing and wonderful man, my husband, Jon. We met 9 years ago while in school at WVU. He proposed while
we were on vacation in Savannah July 2007. We just got married on August 16, 2008 AND bought a house in NJ in November
2007! He is my biggest supporter and helps me get though even the toughest days! I am so excited to
share my life with him!
